Drivewerx® delivers integrated drive motor systems that combine electric motor, variable frequency drive and, where required, mechanical transmission into one engineered unit. By integrating control and power electronics directly with the motor, external drive cabinets, long motor cables and intermediate transmission components can be eliminated.
The result is a compact and robust drive architecture with improved electrical efficiency, reduced mechanical complexity and lower installation footprint. Integrated solutions also enhance system reliability by minimizing alignment issues, transmission losses and component interfaces.
Our portfolio includes direct-drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) with integrated VFD, asynchronous motors with integrated drives, integrated PMSM systems with planetary gearbox for high-load applications, and PM motorized pulley solutions for bulk material handling.
Available in voltage ranges from 380V up to 11kV and power ratings up to 3 MW, Drivewerx® integrated drive systems are engineered for demanding industrial environments including mining, marine propulsion and auxiliaries, oil & gas, bulk material handling and heavy process industries.

Drivewerx® integrated drive systems are designed to simplify heavy-duty drive trains by combining motor, power electronics and, where required, mechanical transmission into a single coordinated unit. This integrated architecture reduces electrical losses, minimizes mechanical interfaces and improves overall system stability.
By eliminating external drive cabinets, long motor cabling and intermediate transmission components, installation complexity is reduced while protection, monitoring and speed control functions are directly embedded within the drive system. High-Torque, Gearless Drive Architecture for Heavy-Duty Applications.
Drivewerx® PMSM Integrated VFD systems combine a low-voltage permanent magnet synchronous motor with a coordinated variable frequency drive in a single integrated unit. Designed for direct-drive configurations, this architecture eliminates gearboxes and intermediate transmission components, simplifying the mechanical drive train.
Permanent magnet synchronous technology enables high torque at low rotational speeds with precise and stable speed control across the full operating range. The integrated drive platform provides controlled acceleration and deceleration, embedded protection functions and continuous speed regulation tailored to application requirements.
This solution is selected where direct-drive configuration, compact installation and controlled torque delivery are key design considerations. PMSM and asynchronous integrated solutions are offered in parallel, allowing selection based on system architecture, operating profile and project specifications.

Drivewerx® low-voltage asynchronous motors with integrated drives combine a robust squirrel cage induction motor with an integrated variable frequency drive in a compact, unified configuration. Designed for 400V to 690V industrial and maritime networks, this solution simplifies drive architecture while maintaining the mechanical reliability of conventional induction motor systems.
By integrating the VFD directly with the motor, external drive cabinets and extended motor cable runs can be minimized. This reduces installation space, lowers electromagnetic interference risk and simplifies commissioning.
The induction motor platform offers stable torque characteristics, high mechanical strength and reliable operation under continuous-duty conditions. Smooth soft-start and controlled acceleration reduce mechanical stress on connected equipment, extending overall system service life.

Drivewerx® PMSM systems with integrated planetary gearbox combine a low-voltage permanent magnet synchronous motor, coordinated variable frequency drive and compact planetary transmission into a single engineered unit. This configuration is selected where high output torque is required within limited installation space or where existing mechanical interfaces dictate a geared solution.
By integrating motor, drive and gearbox into one coordinated assembly, alignment complexity is reduced and mechanical interfaces are minimized compared to conventional motor–gearbox–VFD layouts. The planetary gearbox provides high torque density within a compact footprint while maintaining stable torque delivery and controlled acceleration through the integrated drive platform.
This architecture is particularly suited for heavy-load conveying systems and mechanically demanding drive points where smooth starting behavior, controlled load sharing and compact drive sections are required.

Fully Integrated Drive Solution for Conveyor Systems.
Drivewerx® PM Motorized Pulley systems integrate a permanent magnet motor, variable frequency drive and drive drum into a single sealed unit. By placing the motor directly inside the pulley, external gearboxes, couplings and exposed transmission components are eliminated, resulting in a compact and mechanically simplified conveyor drive.
The integrated configuration improves overall transmission efficiency and reduces mechanical losses associated with conventional drive arrangements. The enclosed design protects critical components against dust, moisture and harsh environmental conditions, making it suitable for demanding bulk material handling applications.
With integrated speed control and protection functions, the system enables smooth starting, controlled acceleration and stable belt operation while minimizing maintenance requirements.
